Deposit / Guarantee Policies

Payment Method: 100% in advance via bank deposit or credit card, with pre-authorization after the cooling-off period (7 days after booking) stipulated in article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (CDC).

CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: Reservations are non-refundable; cancellations or changes are not permitted without charge. In case of changes, cancellations, or no-shows, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation Policy:
In compliance with the rules established by the sector body, EMBRATUR, according to Normative Deliberation No. 165/95, the following procedure applies:
• In case of early departure from the contracted days, there will be no refund of the amount paid;
• Art. 49. The consumer may withdraw from the contract within 7 days of purchasing the reservation, provided that the request is sent before 60 days prior to check-in. Cancellation requests must be sent to the email: [email protected];

• Non-refundable reservations cannot be altered or canceled with a refund.

General Policy

Full board: Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner. Please inform us in advance if you require a vegetarian, vegan, or special diet in case of allergies or intolerances to any food at the time of booking.
We do not accept pets.
Local time is Amazon Time (AMT), UTC -4.
The Uiara Amazon Resort in Manaus offers two transfer services, land and river. The first is by car from the Hotel/Eduardo Gomes Airport to the resort's private pier, and the second is by speedboat to the Uiara Amazon Resort, totaling 40 minutes. The van will be available at the airport from 9:30 am for pick-up of those arriving between 9:00 am and 10:00 am, departing from the airport at 10:30 am. From September to February, during the dry season, a short walk on the beach to the hotel may be necessary; it is recommended to inform us of any mobility restrictions in advance.

If the guest is unable to use the transfers at regular times, it will be necessary to hire a private transfer service, at an additional cost. Prices should be checked directly with the hotel.
Accommodation Policy
For guests, the meal plan is Full Board, including breakfast (Buffet served in the restaurant), lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are charged separately.
Check-in at 12:30 pm with lunch included.
Check-out at 10:30 am (lunch not included).
In case of check-out before the scheduled date, there will be no reduction or refund.

Gratuity Policy:
One child up to 5 years old is considered complimentary and is accommodated in the same bed as the parents. (From the second child onwards, an extra bed fee will be charged according to the current price list)
From 6 to 11 years old, an extra bed fee will be charged according to the current price list. (From the second child onwards, the adult rate will be charged)
From 12 years old onwards, the adult rate will be charged.
Children's Accommodation Policy
In compliance with the provisions of the ECA (Brazilian Statute of Children and Adolescents) according to Law No. 8.69/199, of July 13, 1990, the accommodation of children or adolescents in hotels, motels, guesthouses or similar establishments is prohibited, unless authorized or accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Send proof of payment to the reservations department up to 60 days before check-in.
Compliance with our payment schedule is the sole responsibility of the guest; otherwise, the reservation will be automatically canceled. If the deadline is a non-working day (Saturday, Sunday or holiday), confirmations or payments must be made on the previous working day, before 5 pm.

We do not accept cash or check payments for any of the Resort's services.
