Deposit / Guarantee Policies 
To guarantee your reservation, we request payment of 50% of the total amount in advance. The remaining amount must be paid at check-in. For payments over R$300.00, we can split the total amount into up to 3 interest-free installments on credit cards. For payments over R$800.00, we can split the total amount into up to 4 installments. We accept all major credit or debit cards. We do not accept checks.
Cancellation Policies
In case of cancellation, the amount paid to secure the reservation will be retained as a charge and will not be refunded. The request must be submitted in writing by email; telephone communication will not be accepted. If the cancellation occurs within 7 days of check-in, a credit note will be issued for the purchased package, valid for 6 months, according to the regulations received via the credit note. For packages (Holidays, FLIP, Carnival, New Year's Eve), future stays may only be held during the normal period, with the same number of canceled nights, and will not be valid for future packages.
If the guest fails to show up on the scheduled arrival date, 100% of the total amount will be charged, and the apartment will be automatically vacated the following morning.
Check-in after the agreed date and/or early departure will not reduce the package price.
Reservations with a deposit payment constitute the guest's "acceptance" of these procedures at Pousada L'essence and their commitment to pay the full amount of the package.
Cancellation After Check-In: Cancellation during the stay(s) or package period will result in the full payment being made. You will not be entitled to any refund and will forfeit the entire amount paid for the package. Early departure will also not entitle you to a cash refund or credit toward future stays, and you will be charged the remaining balance agreed upon at the time of booking.
