Cancellation Policies
Promotional values with non-refundable rates
On other dates:
1. Cancellations and Refunds – Standard Policy
1.1. Cancellations made up to 60 (sixty) days in advance of the check-in date:
The guest will be entitled to a full refund of amounts paid up to that date. They may also opt for a credit card for future use, subject to availability and current rates at the time of the new reservation.
1.2. Cancellations made between 15 (fifteen) and 59 (fifty-nine) days in advance:
A penalty corresponding to 50% of the total reservation amount will be applied. The remaining amount may be refunded or converted to credit according to the rate for the desired date, at the guest's discretion.
1.3. Cancellations made less than 15 (fifteen) days before the check-in date, as well as in cases of no-show:
100% (one hundred percent) of the reservation amount will be charged, with no refunds. No credits or rescheduling will be offered.
2. Cancellation Request Method:
• Cancellation requests must be made exclusively by email: [email protected]
• For legal purposes and deadline calculations, the date and time the guest sends the message will be considered, provided receipt is confirmed by the hotel staff.
• Cancellations communicated by phone, WhatsApp, or social media will not be accepted as an official form of request.
3. Changes and Rescheduling
• Date changes are subject to availability and current rates for the new period requested. • In the event of a rescheduling request made up to 15 (fifteen) days in advance of the original date, a one-time, free rescheduling will be possible within 6 (six) months, except for holidays, commemorative dates, and special packages.
• Changes requested less than 15 (fifteen) days before the check-in date will be treated as a cancellation.
4. Special Conditions and Promotional Rates
• Reservations made with promotional rates, coupons, specific date packages, or special conditions are subject to their own rules, which will take precedence over the standard policy and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
• In the event of a discrepancy, the conditions agreed upon and recorded at the time of booking the service will prevail.
5. Policy for Children and Minors
• Children aged 0 to 6 years old are permitted to stay, with a 30% surcharge added to the rate; children aged 6 to 11 years old are subject to a 50% surcharge added to the rate. Guests 12 years and older will be charged the same adult rate.
• Proof of age may be requested at check-in. Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation, without refund.
6. Acceptance of Contractual Terms and Conditions
By confirming a reservation at Bela Vista Caraíva Hotel Boutique, whether through our website, phone, email, travel agencies, or third-party platforms (OTAs), the guest declares that:
• They have read and fully understand the cancellation, refund, change, and general conditions policies described herein;
• They agree to all clauses and terms presented;
• They understand that these policies aim to ensure the best possible experience for all guests, as well as the sustainability and organization of the inn's operations.
