After confirming the reservation, a deposit of 100% of the total amount of the reservation must be made to secure the apartment.

If payment is not made within the deadline, the reservation will be subject to cancellation without prior notice.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation of confirmed reservations must be requested via email to the reservations department ([email protected]) and the cancellation deadlines are counted from the confirmation of receipt of the request email.

Law No. 8,078/1990 governs the right of customers to cancel reservations, and, according to Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (right of withdrawal), our guests may “regret” the reservation and cancel it, provided that the reservation was made exclusively through our website or by telephone, within 7 (seven) days from the date of confirmation of the reservation, with a refund of the amount paid.

Bank transaction fees will be deducted, if applicable. In the case of a refund of the amount paid, this will be done within 10 business days after the cancellation request made via email and upon confirmation of the bank details for the refund of the amounts. For cancellations of reservations made directly at the Hotel or outside the right of withdrawal conditions explained above, the cancellation must be made up to 48 (forty-eight) hours before the guest's arrival, and the amount paid at the time of booking will not be refunded, but will be made available to the Guest as a letter of credit to be used for another stay at the hotel.

For cancellations of packages for holidays and high season, the minimum period for cancellation is 96 (ninety-six) hours before the guest's arrival, and the amount paid at the time of booking will not be refunded, but will be made available to the Guest as a letter of credit to be used for another stay at the hotel.

The Letter of Credit is given in reais (R$) and not in daily rates, since daily rates may change without prior notice. The letter of credit is valid for 06 (six) months from the date of its issue and can be used on promotional weekends, special packages and holidays.

Although there is no obligation to refund, Hotel Fazenda Recanto Shangri-lá has an internal policy of kindly granting a Letter of Credit. The Letter of Credit must be used for a single stay.

For cancellations made before the deadlines stated above, 100% of the amount paid will be retained by the Hotel and a Letter of Credit will not be granted.
