Deposit / Guarantee Policies
Payment Guarantee: To guarantee your reservation, you must provide valid payment information at the time of booking. This information will be used to guarantee the reservation and cover the cost of the accommodation. Payment Methods: We accept valid credit cards, bank transfer or other forms of payment authorized by the inn. Available payment options will be advised at the time of booking. Payment Information: When making the reservation, the guest must provide accurate and complete information regarding payment, including credit card number, expiration date, cardholder name and card security code (CVV) . In the case of a bank transfer, the guest must provide the necessary details for the transfer. Payment Authorization: By providing payment information, the guest authorizes the guesthouse to charge the total or partial amount of the reservation on the credit card provided or to receive payment by bank transfer, in accordance with the established conditions. Advance Charge: In some cases, the inn may charge a partial or total amount of the reservation in advance at the time of confirmation. This will be informed during the booking process and will be subject to specific inn policies. No-show guarantee: In non-refundable reservations or in cases of no-show (non-attendance of the guest on the day of check-in without prior notice), the inn reserves the right to charge the total amount of the reservation on the credit card. credit provided or to apply the foreseen payment guarantee measures. Data Security: Payment information provided by guests will be treated securely and confidentially. The inn will take appropriate measures to protect the information from unauthorized access or misuse. Cancellation Policies: Cancellation and refund policies are separate from this payment guarantee policy. Cancellation Policies
Cancellation Policy: This cancellation policy applies to bookings with a non-refundable rate, where the amount paid at the time of booking will not be refunded in the event of cancellation. Consumer Awareness: Before proceeding with a non-refundable rate reservation, it is the consumer's responsibility to understand and accept the conditions, as well as being aware of the possible financial consequences of an eventual cancellation. Cancellation: Once the reservation has been made with a non-refundable rate, it will not be possible to request a cancellation and obtain a refund of the amount paid. This includes cancellations due to personal reasons, changes in plans, health issues or other unforeseen circumstances. Reservation Changes: In some cases, the inn may allow date changes for reservations with a non-refundable rate, subject to availability and upon payment of a change fee established by the inn. These changes are subject to the inn's specific policy and conditions. Cancellation by the Pousada: In exceptional cases, in which the Pousada cannot fulfill the reservation with a non-refundable rate due to unforeseen circumstances or situations beyond its control, the Pousada undertakes to offer adequate alternatives to the consumer, such as booking a room equivalent at another partner inn or full refund of the amount paid.
