Deposit / Guarantee Policies
To confirm your reservation, we ask for the TOTAL advance payment that will be debited 60 days before the check-in date. If you have entered your credit card details before this deadline, please understand that we request this data as a guarantee of the reservation so that on the date agreed above we can process the transaction on your card. We accept payment in installments for reservations that have a minimum amount of R$ 400.00. We pay up to 6 interest-free installments on Visa, MasterCard, Amex Dinners or Elo cards. We do not accept other flags. In cases of reservations with a third party card (cardholder will not stay at the reservation), the cardholder must send a signed Guaranteed Reservation Term, together with a copy of the front and back of the identity document and credit card informed in the Term. Prepaid and/or guaranteed amounts will not be refunded. If there is a balance of values, we will analyze the possibility of granting credit in a future accommodation. ATTENTION! The Carmel Hotels group reserves the right to request additional documents at check-in to comply with the anti-fraud control requirements of credit card operators: the credit card used in the purchase and the ID of the cardholder. In cases of lodging purchases made for third parties, the cardholder must complete and sign an authorization (Reservation Term) that will be sent in advance to the reservations department. If the requested documents are not presented, the buyer agrees that the hotel may, at its discretion, cancel the reservation and refund the amounts to the credit card used for the purchase.

• To confirm the reservation, full prepayment of the accommodation will be required, with payment processed up to 30 (thirty) days before the check-in date;
• If credit card details are provided before this deadline, they will be used exclusively as a reservation guarantee, authorizing the hotel to charge on the date stipulated in this policy;
• Reservations with a minimum total value of R$ 450.00 (four hundred and fifty reais) may be paid in up to 6 (six) installments (minimum installment of R$150.00) without interest on Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Elo cards;
• For reservations made with a third-party card, where the cardholder will not be a guest of the reservation, it will be mandatory to send the duly signed Guaranteed Reservation Form, accompanied by a copy of the official identity document and the card used for the purchase;
• The amounts paid will be subject to the conditions stipulated in the cancellation policy applicable to the rate and the contracted period;
• The hotel reserves the right to request additional documents at check-in for anti-fraud validation with credit card companies;
• Failure to present the requested documents may result in the cancellation of the reservation, according to internal security and financial validation criteria;
• Exceptional situations may be administratively analyzed by the hotel, according to internal criteria;
• By making the reservation, the guest declares knowledge and agreement with all financial, tariff and policy conditions applicable to the contracted period;
These conditions observe the principles of good faith, transparency and contractual balance provided for in the Consumer Protection Code.
• To confirm the reservation, an advance payment for the first night of the stay may be requested, which will be processed up to 3 (three) days before the check-in date;
• The remaining balance of the stay must be paid at check-in;
• If credit card details are provided before the aforementioned deadline, they will be used exclusively as a guarantee for the reservation, authorizing the hotel to make the charge on the date stipulated in this policy;

In case of no-show or early departure, the total amount of the reservation will be charged as a non-refundable or non-creditable fine. We do not refund amounts already paid.

• Exceptional situations may be analyzed administratively by the hotel, according to internal criteria;
• By making the reservation, the guest declares knowledge and agreement with the tariff, financial, and political conditions applicable to the contracted accommodation;

• Cancellations or changes may be made free of charge up to 3 (three) days prior to the check-in date;
• After this period, the amount corresponding to the first night of the reservation will be charged as a contractual penalty and compensation for blocking the availability of the accommodation;
• In cases of no-show, the charge corresponding to the first night of the reservation will be maintained;
• In case of early departure, the amount corresponding to the period actually used will be charged, plus 1 (one) night as contractual compensation;

• Exceptional situations may be analyzed administratively by the hotel, according to internal criteria;
