The Hotel

Itaipava Castle was built in the first half of the twentieth century, circa 1922-24, by Anglo-Brazilian aristocrat Rodolfo Smith of Vasconcellos, in the neighborhood of Itaipava in the city of Petrópolis. It is a reproduction of a European castle and was designed by the architect Fernando Valentim. Today, after passing through several reforms and expansion, the castle of Itaipava has 75 suites and new leisure spaces with terrace with hydromassages and sauna, pool terrace, 2 internal restaurants in the complex, lake with seasonal garden, gas station and Famous event space dedicated to conducting weddings and parties. The castle implanted in 2020 the elevator convenience making access to the rooms and terraces for the 4 floors. The hotel is still in works from the last larger batch and is forecast for ending on December 15, 2020. Noises occurs at the commercial hours of 8:30 at 5:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
