The Hotel

Our unique feature. Besides being located in the center of Porto Seguro, just 700 meters from the ferry (which connects to Arraial d'Ajuda), 750 meters from the famous Passarela do Álcool/Descobrimento, and less than 2 km from Porto Seguro International Airport, we boast a rich interior, steeped in history and culture. The experience begins with our charming, rediscoverers-themed reception, with walls made of stones extracted from coral reefs and coated with whale oil. We have a life-size representation of Pero Vaz de Caminha, perfect for photos, as well as a painting of one of Captain Alfonso Albuquerque's ships from Pedro Álvares Cabral's fleet, Cabral family coats of arms, and, at the reception desk, an excerpt from Pero Vaz de Caminha's famous letter, written in archaic Portuguese. Upon entering the hotel, we pass through a portal dating back to 1810, making us the only Historic Hotel in Porto Seguro. After the portal, we reach the breakfast room, decorated in a Pioneer-themed style, reminiscent of the era of great expeditions. Continuing on, you'll find our leisure area, which includes a barbecue grill, a gazebo, a solarium with lounge chairs, and a pool with a waterfall.
