The Hotel
The hotel's landscape design was designed in 1989 by Burle Marx, an internationally recognized urban planner. Projected on a small cliff, with a spectacular scenery, one of the biggest attractions of the hotel is its beautiful panoramic view. On one side, the grandeur of the blue sea and on the other, the delicacy of a cove with calm and clear waters with mountains that further enrich this paradise. Built in the fishing village of Ubu, which according to legend means: when the body of Blessed Father José de Anchieta, was being carried by the Indians to be buried in Vitória, they dropped the body, exactly in this locality, and exclaimed “ABA UBU!” - which means - the priest has fallen!
