CHILDREN'S POLICY
Article 2 - For the purposes of Law 8.069/90 (Statute of the Child and Adolescent), a child is considered to be a person up to twelve years of age, and an adolescent is a person between twelve and eighteen years of age.

Article 82 - It is prohibited to lodge a child or adolescent in a hotel, motel, boarding house or similar establishment, unless authorized or accompanied by their parents or guardian.
Article 250 - Lodging a child or adolescent, unaccompanied by their parents or guardian or without written authorization from them, or from the judicial authority, in a hotel, boarding house, motel or similar establishment.

Penalty: Fine of 10 to 50 reference salaries; in case of recidivism, the judicial authority may order the closure of the establishment for up to fifteen days.

We remind you that in the case of a child or adolescent with authorization, it must contain a notarized signature of the parents or legal guardian; and the National Guest Registration Form (FNRH) of the minor must be completed and signed jointly with their father/mother or legal guardian, and a copy of this authorization must be attached to the minor's FNRH.
If the child or adolescent is accompanied by their parents or legal guardian, proof of guardianship will be provided by presenting valid identification documents (ID card, Birth Certificate, Passport).
